The high-performance computing lab was established in the summer of 2006 to support the scientific computational needs of faculty and students at Washington and Lee University. The lab currently houses the University’s Beowulf cluster, The Inferno, constructed from off-the-shelf desktop computers and network components. The lab currently supports several projects involving both faculty and students.
